I wonder how was the world when there was absolute peace and no worries. The world before the industrial revolution, wars and the world before the race for supremacy. There must have been a time when men did not need to worry about the future or say about earning money. Needless to say that circumstances have changed and men are no more the same species. Cut throat competition, selfish and downright mean. In the present world if you have money, you are counted. If you don’t then you are useless. People can do anything to earn whatever extra they can. You ask them a reason for money, the answer is obvious; EVERYTHING. The situation seems a little out of hand as I see. The rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. Today, buying that swanking new house is just a phone call away. In the same time there are people who don’t even get essential drinking water. Urbanization has gone a long way and there seems to be no thought for making the rural into urban. What am I writing? Dam

Manipur, a beautiful state in the north eastern region of India. My home and my birthplace. ever since I can remember its been under trouble and issues. The subject of which ranges from small to big. The biggest question is about the merger of the state to India. Well thats not I am worried about because the state cannot live on its own, even if it gets the so called freedom from India. Questions are many starting from how did it happen to what is wrong now. Anybody can raise a question but nobody seems to act. There are so many manipuris living outside the state or the country, everyone has an opinion about what is going on in Imphal or the state. Everyone will come up with a solution well some prefere not to comment but the ending of any conversation will end with "its useless and its not going to work". The media seems to be not interested in the entire region of the north east unless its a sensational news. Everyday so many people die in the region but the news of it does
